Because we love you

Polina has a very very good friend. She is her Best Friend Forever I would say. Her name is Anna.

Polina spent almost every day with Anna since she was 6 month old.

Spent the holidays together:

and wore Anna`s last year Halloween costumes because it`s fun to look like her a year later :)

She already got Anna`s butterfly costume for 2010 Hallowing and can`t wait to put it on..!
And there is no better things to do but play with your BF:

and swim side by side

read a few books together

 and of course repeat each other`s every step

So as Annas`s birthday rolled around in February we just new we had to make her something very very special. So we set down and talked about what Anna would love ..
Polina said something about the crown and a princess. And I got it. I just knew what she meant and made her somethings that every little girl should have in her closet!
All packed in a pretty damask hat box.. and gave it for her big number 3:

 A petty skirt in candy pink

 that came with matching top

 and a hair clip with her Name initial - A

Because we want you to feel like a real princess ..! Have fun wearing it many many days, beautiful Blondy!

P.S: Unfortunately my camera died the minute Anna put that skirt on... So I could not make any shots of her wearing it. But I will make sure that her mom takes some picks next time she puts it on... and hopefully before she gets any cake, ice cream and candy all over it ! ;)

Something Pink ..

With flowers and a bow that totally looks cute on your princess whether it is Easter or just any normal day in royalty life! Easter is around the corner so I thought it would be fun to make some cute baby bibs for the holiday ( or any other day).

I made these bibs last night to add to my other towel bib collection.

 Those chocolate covered marshmallow bunnies wont make it till Easter I think. My dear Polina already stole one from this bunch :) And she learned where they are so she is throwing a fit each time I get close to them!  Oh well that`s just normal now days ! Terrible twos.. you know!
When she was small I totally love these towel bibs because they are so absorbent, soft and easy to care for. Just toss it in the regular wash and dry as you would any laundry ! They can take a lot of drool! And a lot of spilled soup!  AND they are just so cute! I made them from dish towels. Brand new stuff. They are an addition to these cute guys:

And since we are talking about Easter holiday I just wanted to throw in some other Easter fun ideas for babies. Like this Blue ribbon Baby bonnet :

 

And as you notice they are made of ( Guess what...?  ) Right: a Birdseye diaper cloths! My famous collection ! As well as this precious Baby night gown with embroidered rose on the middle. I made exactly same one for my coworker`s baby shower . It is so light and breathy for a hot day or night !

                                  

I loved the embroidery on the middle. So feminine. The missing part

Since I was away for so long from blogging world I decided to throw in an update about what I have been up to this recent months. I have been pretty busy and  totally loved it. My head is always spinning with ideas and I must create to survive LOL. So here are some fruits of my creativity if I can say so !
    I had this gorgeous Red polka dot cotton fabric that I wanted to cut into for a log time so I finally did when I made this dress. I liked it so much but it was sold almost immediately and I was left only with the pictures of  my friend`s daughter, Anna, posing in it . She was born to be a model I think :)

After one of my friends handed down to me her unwanted almost brand new sun dress I right away have seen THIS coming !

And the best part was I made TWO dresses out of only one adult outfit ! The BIG SIS DRESS  and a Small SIS Matching Dress. These are still in my Etsy Shop if you are interested.  I love being GREEN ! Recycling clothes is such a great way to save our planet!
Then I discovered a brown corduroy fabric in my stash and made a few things out of it :
A Chick Momma Diaper Bag Set that includes an extra cushy waterproof  changing pad and matching wallet for mommy !

I think I should of made this for myself 2,5 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter, because it is so roomy that the bag could hold pretty much everything you need from diapers to breast pump and supplies for it.

From the same fabric this Easter/Church/ School Dress was born. At first for Valentine day and now it is perfect to wear for Easter Holiday or actually any other day of the week  I think. I just love how it turned out to be :

AND it comes with matching Hair Clip !

 But the heart dress was my second attempt after I made this Brown Corduroy Dress using Dana`s idea from MADE blog. It turned out a bit small for Polina so I decided to put it in my shop.

Then I felt pink again and made this True Princess polka dot dress, I love this fabric so much especially because it was a bed sheet that I bought in target for 75% off! I cut into it the first day I brought it home! Gatta love the bargain and green part of a deal !

And then some more girly stuff!
Like this Chocolate Meringue  dress. I love chocolate, meringue and this is totally all in one dress. Don`t you wanna eat it ? I do :)

 And recently I am into knits! I love my serger so much that I just want to serge everything I get a hand on LOL. Especially when I have ton of knit scraps that are laying around my sewing room! So that`s the story behind my Rainbow Skirt  that I made recently

Not only I am into knits now days but I am also into cute little leggings and boy/girl pants!

There are many more :) But I would run out of space on here and had to stay up all night if I decided to post all of them. Most of them are still in my etsy shop along with my very new items.

It was a success!

Wow, I have been a bit busy over the past few days. Got many orders for different things! It was nice to be busy and I felt very productive!  I love to work on demand, but now I am sure it will settle down after the giveaway is all finished at MADE and I will have time to create some other things. So happy a lot of people liked them.  But now I will have a bit of a time for creating something that will suddenly pop in my head. Yes it happens to me sometime ( at 3 am ) . And I have to get up and make it happen. Because I hardly have any patience when it comes to designing and  holding my ideas that visit me until morning .

THE TIME HAS COME

I was thinking about starting my blog for a while now.. In fact I have started one and never went on with it.. I had been creating things steadily for about 2,5 years now and even opened my Etsy shop and have my own ForeverYou fan page, but I never was quite confident about having my own blogging world. I love to read other blogs and have been following some amazing blogs out there. I guess my time has come and I feel pretty inspired to start! I hope this time I keep it up and hope my fans will help me to continue on ! I love to hear feedback, ideas and your suggestions. Please DO leave a comment! They will definitely be what I need to go on. And remember I am a newbie to this so if you have any tricks and suggestions on how to improve my blog please share with me, I need great advises and different point of views! This blog is for all of you and of course for me! A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Hope not to bore you!
